
Trail Information
• Daily operation and use of the trail is limited to daylight hours between sunrise and sunset, which vary seasonally (typically 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
• Stay on the Trail. Lands directly adjacent to and beyond the developed trail are private property.
• No hunting (including firearms, bow and arrow, trapping) or target practice is permitted on or from the trail.
• No person shall ignite or allow a fire to burn at any time.
• No person shall camp or stay overnight along the trail at any time.
• No motorized uses including motor vehicles, motor sport vehicles or motor recreational vehicles (ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, etc.) are permitted on the trail at any time, except for inspection, maintenance, enforcement and emergency vehicle purposes.
• Trail user parking is located at designated trailheads in the Town of Irricana and Village of Beiseker. Parking is not permitted along County or other roads or road allowances, at bridges or bridge access locations, or on adjacent private property at any time.
The trail, staging area, and surrounding park lands located within the Village of Beiseker are being maintained by Alberta TrailNet Society, the Beiseker Parks and Trails Society, and the Village of Beiseker; in the Town of Irricana by the Town of Irricana Lions Club; and between these two communities, by the Meadowlark Trail Society. These groups work in partnership with their respective communities, other trail partners, and with the landowner, Alberta TrailNet Society. Fundraising, trail building and ongoing maintenance of the trail take hundreds of community and volunteer hours. Please respect this work and the facilities provided.

Know Before you Go
To ensure your own safety and an enjoyable trail experience and to maintain the beauty
and natural features of this trail, please KNOW BEFORE YOU GO.
• Know and abide by applicable local regulations and trail signs
• Stay on the designated trail and restrict use to approved activities and times
• Check for trail closures, weather conditions, and fire bans (1 866 FYI-FIRE) before setting out
• Leave historic artifacts and natural features undisturbed
• Respect private land and other land uses – leave gates and fences as found; do not touch machinery and equipment
• Share the trail with courtesy and respect for other trail users
• View wildlife and livestock at a distance; do not feed or disturb them
• Control pets and keep them on leash
• Pack out all garbage and pet waste
• Minimize the threat of wildfire - do not smoke; all forms of fire including barbeques are banned
• Avoid recreation use during sensitive times (e.g. wet, extreme fire hazard conditions)
• Avoid travelling alone or after dark; let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return. Carry a cell phone (Note: reception is not available in all areas)
• Avoid the spread of invasive species by cleaning recreation equipment and footwear after each trip

• For those intending to use wheelchairs or baby carriages, the clear width between the trail access controls (bollards) is 925 mm or 36 inches
