 The Bridges are installed but closed for the winter.
Comments from Linda Strong-Watson, Executive Director, Alberta TrailNet: "The County's approval of the bridge development permit was conditional on the bridges remaining closed until the trail development permit has been issued and the trail developed to the standards specified in the trail development permit. Key to this requirement is the concern for public safety and the implementation of trail management and operations plans (including signage and access controls). Alberta TrailNet will be applying for a development permit for the trail in late winter and expects trail development to proceed and be complete in summer 2020." Public support and respect of the County bridge closure condition is appreciated. We are all looking forward to when the trail has been developed and officially opens to public access."
